Bishop Flores has introduced the Love Builds Hope Campaign to strengthen our mission as the Church, now and for the future. Each parish is an important part of that mission and will conduct a campaign in one of four parish groups over the next two years.
Our campaign, Love Builds Hope is a holy moment in the life of our Church – the campaign is founded on prayer and it is a call to respond. To make this real in our lives as members of one Church family, Bishop Flores is inviting all of us to make a special prayer commitment, beginning this Friday, February 28th and all that follow. The time of 12 Noon has long been a time to pause your day and pray the Angelus.
Every Friday at 12 Noon, you are asked to unite your heart with the bishops, priests, religious and countless faithful throughout the Valley to pray the Angelus if you can, or to offer your own prayer. The Angelus Prayer and more information can be found at www.lovebuildshope.org. The Holy Spirit at work in the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary brought forth the great gift of Christ in the world. Like her, let us pray, let us be led by the Spirit, let us act. Our faith calls us to pray and to respond. The idea is simple. Mark your calendars every Friday. Be a witness to others and invite them to join with you in this Holy Moment!
Love Builds Hope Campaign
El Obispo Flores introdujo la Campaña El Amor Crea Esperanza para fortalecer nuestra misión como Iglesia, ahora como en el futuro. Cada parroquia es una parte esencial de esta misión y cada una llevará a cabo una campaña en uno de los cuatro grupos parroquiales durante los próximos dos años.
Nuestra campaña El Amor Crea Esperanza, es un momento sagrado en la vida de nuestra Iglesia. La campaña se basa en la oración y nos invita a responder. Para realmente hacer eso como miembros de una sola Iglesia, el Obispo Flores nos invita a todos a hacer un compromiso especial de oración, comenzando este viernes 28 de febrero y cada viernes de ahí en adelante. El mediodía ha sido por mucho tiempo un momento para darle pausa a nuestro día y rezar el Ángelus.
Cada viernes a las 12 del mediodía, se les pide que nos unamos en corazón con los obispos, sacerdotes, religiosos e innumerables fieles de todo el Valle a rezar el Ángelus, o para ofrecer su propia oración. La oración del Ángelus e información adicional la encontrará en el sitio www.lovebuildshope.org. El Espíritu Santo a través de la Santísima Virgen María, nos trajo el gran regalo de Cristo al mundo. Como ella, recemos, seamos guiados por el Espíritu Santo, y actuemos. Nuestra fe nos llama a orar y a responder. La idea es sencilla. Marque su calendario todos los viernes. ¡Dé testimonio a los demás e invítelos a unirse a este Momento Sagrado!
